By AIR: Bengaluru International Airport is the nearest airport to Mysore. Bangalore is about 150 kms from Mysore. Bengaluru is well connected by Air from all major cities of the country and also from many other countries. Mysore has also got an airport and few flights from Bengaluru are operational.
Local Organizing Committee of COSPAR 2012 has made necessary transport
arrangements, round the clock, from 12th July onwards for all the
delegates/ COSPAR officials to reach the Conference Venue at Mysore from
Bengaluru International Airport.
A Help Desk to assist the delegates at Bengaluru International Airport and
at Bengaluru Railway Station will be provided round the clock
By RAIL: There are direct train services from Bengaluru, Mangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Jaipur, etc.

By Road: Buses runs every 5 minutes from Bengaluru. There is a choice of air-conditioned and ordinary buses. Bus services by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation and transport corporations of the neighboring states as well as private tour operators make it easy to reach the city without any difficulty. It is only a 3 hour journey from Bangalore.
