How To Register

 Two modes of registration possible:

  1. On-line Registration

    2. Early Bird Registration – till April 30, 2012

    Regular Registration – till July 1, 2012

  2. On-Site Registration

             From July 12, 2012 to July 21, 2012

  Note:

  1. Correspondence

    • Email correspondence is the preferred mode of communication. Otherwise facsimile communications would be followed.

  2. Payment

    • For on-line: through secured Internet Payment Gateway through Credit/ Debit Card or SWIFT Bank Transfer for Euro or Mail Transfer for INR

    • For On-site: through Credit/ Debit Card/ Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Cospar 2012“ payable at Bangalore, India or by Cash  

Step-1:

Go to the Registration -> Online Registration

Prerequisities:

  1. Personal details
  2. Passport details for Foreign Nationals/ NRIs.
  3. Photograph for all delegates/ accompanying persons in .jpg format for uploading during online registration process.
  4. Identify proof for Students/ Retired Professors/ Scientists in .jpg format for uploading during online registration process.

Step-2:

Start filling up the form with correct data and SUBMIT the form

Note:

  1. Indian participants residing in India would pay Registration fee only in Indian Rupees & participants from outside India (Foreign delegates/ NRIs) would pay only in Euros

  2. In the case of participants from outside India, Passport details are required for both main registrant and accompanying guest.

Step-3:

Look for the instant confirmation message on the same screen (as given below)

"Thank You
The Form has been Completed Successfully
Confirmation message sent to your Email account"


And look for the first official communication (as given below) from COSPAR 2012 LOC Secretariat confirming the receipt of your on-line application in your email.

"Dear Prof /Dr/ Mrs/ Ms/... ...

  • We thankfully acknowledge the receipt of your registration form to COSPAR 2012.

  • We sincerely appreciate your interest to participate in COSPAR 2012 at Mysore, India. 

  • Kindly wait for the further communication from COSPAR 2012 LOC secretariat.

  • Looking forward to your cooperation.

Step-4:

Await for the Second official communication (as given below) from COSPAR 2012 Secretariat, providing you with User Name and Password for delegate login.  Generally User name would be your email ID and the password would be a 6 digit numeric code.  Delegate can change the password after the first successful login.

  • Kindly refer to your registration form submitted for participation in COSPAR 2012.

  • We are happy to provide you the User Name and Password for entering into the secured area of the COSPAR 2012 website.

    • Your USER NAME:

    • Password:

  • Your system generated Registration ID is -----------

  • This would enable you for the following transactions:

    • Modifying your personal profile with regard to address, accompanying person.
    • Remitting the Registration Fee through secured banking gate way
    • Uploading the presentation after acceptance of your abstract
    • Uploading of laptop details, if you would like to bring your laptop to COSPAR assembly.

  • Kindly pay your registration fee through Delegate login.

Step-5:

Visit the secured area by entering User Name & Password for -

  • Paying your Registration fee

Note:

  1. Avail the concessional rates of Registration by paying early (Before April 30, 2012).

  2. Look for confirmation of payment and take a print of the receipt for producing at Registration counter at the Conference Venue.

Step-6:

Await the third official communication (as given below) from COSPAR 2012 Secretariat confirming the receipt of the registration fee within two weeks of payment transaction.

  • Kindly refer to your on-line registration form for participation in COSPAR 2012 and subsequent payment of Registration fees.

Step-7:

Collect your registration kit at the Conference Venue (Narayana Murthy Centre of Excellence, Mysore) by producing the relevant original documents.

Step-1:

Go to the Registration Area in the Conference Venue -> Onsite Registration and submit the form, take a digital photograph.

If you have already submitted the online registration form, you may skip step 1

Step-2:

Pay the registration Fee through through Credit/ Debit Card/ Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Cospar 2012“ payable at Bangalore, India or by Cash

Note:

Following documents are to be shown at the registration desk in the Conference Venue:

Resident Indians

  1. Valid IDs: PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Photo ID issued by Central/ State Government/ Credit Cards with laminated photograph.
  2. Proof of Student/ Retired Professor / Scientist (if registered under this category)
  3. ISRO Sponsorship letter (If sponsored by ISRO)/ COSPAR Grant Recipient Proof (if sponsored by COSPAR)
  4. Registration confirmation / Fee payment details

Foreign Nationals/ Non - Resident Indians

  1. Original Passport
  2. Student Proof (if registered under student category)
  3. COSPAR Grant Recipient Proof (if sponsored by COSPAR)
  4. Registration confirmation / Fee payment details
